Same with Dr Banaji.

We usually see dr. Dana, but saw Dr. Charlie once when we needed urgent attention, and he seemed very good. We are only giving up on their practice because they don't take insurance.

Love, love, love Dr Dana and Dr. Charlie. We have had some challnging teeth moments and they have been wonderful. My daughter skipped out of an appt where her tooth had to be pulled. They also are not aggressive, they take a wait and see approach when filling a tooth doesn’t make sense because it will be falling out soon anyway.

We also started with Dr Dana and then Dr. Charlie. Their office is great. My 9 yr old loves going. He has had one small filling.

My brother is a dentist out of state and I always run by with him treatment and all reasonable.

We left DC but keep going in. Only 2x/year.

My real worry will be if braces are recommended.

Avoid Bethesda Dental Specialties unless you want your three year old's baby teeth slathered with fluoride.

I am wondering does anyone still feel that dr blank recommends unnecessary procedures?
I am slightly uncomfortable with their policies at that office as well when it comes to pressure to stay out in your car while your young child goes in alone. This is an issue I see parents on Facebook questioning recently as well.

Vinh Trinh at Three Creek Dentistry. It's a bit of a drive, but they have weekend appointments, and his son is my daughter's age, so he's awesome with kids. He previously worked under Jeffrey Sisel, who has an excellent reputation.

Avoid DrPerez. He and his office were not right for my family . Also they don’t participate with any insurance. Since we now live in Arlington, we are looking for a new office for next year. Our kids will be getting braces in CC so we are also looking….

This is why we stopped seeing Dr Blank. I am not leaving my 3,5 yr old with a doctor alone. My husband took her last time before we switched and i gave him crap for leaving her alone.

I am curious if anyone has any experience with Plover Pediatric Dental? They seem to be new in the Rockville/Bethesda area.

I do not have any idea re that practice, but I would never send in my young child (or tween!) inside to a dentist or dr. alone.
Not happening.

If you are looking at practices in Bethesda, we have been very happy with Harmony in Bethesda, having seen both the dentist and ortho. at their prior group practice, and followed them to their brand new office location a couple of years ago.

Backstory: my 7 year old has a number of cavities and has had a couple of teeth pulled plus one cap. Our last dental visit - they will not perform the work unless my son is sedated and in a hospital’s setting due to a blood disorder. This presents so many issues ( finding a dentist with hospital privileges that’s within network and doesn’t have a waitlist).

Can anyone recommend a dentist that is willing to do gentle dentistry and not push for in hospital but can take their time with my son and do the treatment plan over
The course of months?

Left Dr.Perez’s office bc he is very arrogant. My kids did not like him. Now we go somewhere new in falls church.
