Are there any genuinely normal, well-adjusted celebrities

Paul Rudd

I also also heard good things about working for Conan O'Brien from friends of friends

Another person who can’t use Google. In what world is Mick Jagger well adjusted?

He likes his ladies but there are civilian men out there with worse records.

Watched a couple of interviews with him and he seems pretty normal. And interesting!

Gabrielle Carteris became the president of SAG-AFTRA. She seems impressive--not sure she's the kind of celebrity you are referring to, OP.

Yep. Absolutely.

Eh...not so sure. In part because of the two prior marriages, yes but also because of it possibly being part of her brand. I think she's kind....but I think she likely had issues

People who strike me as basically not severely neurotic: (They may be somewhat neurotic) . Agree on Paul Rudd, Steve Carrell (and his wife), Dennis and Ann Leary (healthier neurotics, who have put in the work, as they say), Vince Gill & Amy Grant, Tina Fey and musician husband, Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Bruce Springsteen and Patty Scialfa (now, have had past treatment), Barry Gibb (now), Steve Martin (now), Meryl Streep (now), Eddie Falco (now), Martin Short, Celine Dion, Billy Joel (now), Richard Gere, Emma Stone, Christina Ferrare, Cheryl Ladd, Linda Carter, Sigourney Weaver, Diane Lane, Ina Garten, James Brolin, Just my impressions, could be wrong.

Jagger is very intelligent and grounded. He has children from many women, but I do think he's "normal" by celebrity standards and no fool and not an addict/crazy/a jerk.

Paul Rudd, Steve Carell, Amy Poehler (my friend grew up with her!), Matt Damon, Conan, Seth Meyers all boarded the normal train.

+1.

+2 I happen to believe her PR is largely true. She's B/C list in terms of work projects and has some humility about that imo. What really separates her from the plebes is that she's super rich. But she's clearly a very hands-on mom for a celebrity and looks completely normal walking around.

Julianne Moore is similar, I think.

Jennifer Garner is kind of a genius for getting that Capital One gig. She can do the commercials and voiceovers (for radio/online ads) while her kids are at school and not miss a mom-beat. Gets paid MILLIONS for being their spokes person for years now. Does a movie every year or two for funsies. Has her farm food as her passion project.

And has volunteered with Save the Children for a long time. I think she’s a good person. Agree she’s done really well with balance.

Ryan Gostling and Eva Mendes. They moved out of la to give their kids a somewhat normal life. They are keot out of the spotlight too.

Lol, no. But it's a testament to her and her publicity team that you think this.

please do go on

There is no way that Jennifer Garner is not weird in the way most very famous people are weird. It's not a personal insult to her. She does a good job of working her natural charm and "folksy" manner to seem down to earth, but I guarantee if she showed up in your office tomorrow, or you saw her in the grocery store, she would seem strange to you. She has lived an extremely not normal life, including being married to Affleck and going through a super public and terrible divorce, so it's unlikely she is "normal" in the way OP means.

But yes, it's impressive that she can still convince people that she's the lady next door. She is very good in that role. But it's a role.

Apparently not according to a fair amount of literature over the years. However, let's talk about $$. Everything being equal, these people have money upon money. That alone makes people different.

I used to live in Chelsea! I saw him at Polly's once, it was like the celebrity highlight of my life. LOL
