When I was 120, I was a “kid” and super skinny. No muscles and I walked for exercise. Even then, though, I always thought I was fat. I always had bigger thighs and butt and I have had a decades long struggle with body image issues.

My legs and butt continue to be bigger and my pregnancies changed my body shape so much. My rib cage is bigger, my hips wider. I just don’t know that I can get 120 on this frame anymore.

This is me as well except my stomach is big and my butt is not. I really wish my style wasn’t baggy and grunge as a teen bc I was 115 and 5’5, but pictures don’t look it. With my now much more muscular frame, I think 135 is about as low as I can go. It also was my easily maintained pre-pregnancy weight.

Now in my late 40s, there is no easily maintained weight and the scale only moves down very slowly with a restricted diet and exercise. It moves up very easily! My goal is 141, 151 is more realistic and would still be a significant loss from my high of 191.

At 141 you’d have a flat stomach with no fat?

I’m surprised by how many American women think they are thin at a certain weight but still have a large roll of fat. You’re not thin if you can pinch a lot of fat/skin on your waist.

The question wasn’t what is your thin weight, it was what weight are you most comfortable or attractive.

Comfortable and attractive are not the same. Attractive is based on the public.

5’5 here. I think my optimal weight is about 140.

OK, so I’m shorter than your target range. But at 5’3” 135 is perfect for me. Muscular and lean with a rack.

This thread is mostly making me feel better.

I'm 5'5". I'd love to weigh 115. I do weigh 125. I'm MUCH more muscular than when I weighed 115. But there's also a few pounds of fat that I could probably diet away, but I just don't want to.

That’s not fair. I’ve had 6 babies and loose skin that didn’t tighten back up and I can pinch that but that doesn’t mean it’s all fat.

130. I’m 5’4.5 and currently 200. I was 140 a few years ago. I’m 49 and in perimenopause. I’d like to start Wegovy, but can’t find anywhere it’s in stock.

Hey, thanks! I am small-boned, so I do notice every couple of pounds. I was probably a little too skinny at 115, though.

I feel so fat reading these. I am 5’5 141 and a size small/ (loose) 6. Yikes.

I feel best around 125. I’m currently 134 and have a tummy bulge and a layer of fat that makes my hard-earned muscle look less defined. If I’m going to spend the hours weight lifting I want to see the results!

5'5. 127 is my ideal weight. I am 55. I usually range from 130 to 140. Am 127 right now.
