Rockville Teen Charged with Threats of Mass Violence

There are people in your community learning that someone wrote this about where they send their children to school every day. There are students who have experienced at least 2 bomb threats this year learning about this today. There are parents of kindergarteners who sent their kids to public school for the first time this year reading this today. That should be the focus. We are very lucky.

Does anyone know when the writings were first brought to police attention? I’m curious how long it took for them to be notified then act on it.

School shootings and threats to schools are a national issue, so it makes sense to me for a national news outlet to pick it up.

This story is especially disturbing because of the manifesto, or journal or whatever one wants to call it.

It doesn't stop the person from going to the school and shooting people, though. They are/were in the virtual program.

Very true! My son attends Wootton and while the door is locked during the school day, kids are easily buzzed in all the time.
