Can’t stop eating

You’re joking right? Natural sugars going in berries and fruit, yes.
Refined processed sugar and corn syrup that’s in most modern packaged snacks = nope.

We all know sugar is bad for us, but Tempe all or nothing approach doesn’t work for many of us.

I have high blood sugar and type 2 runs in my family. I take metformin and it comes down. I’ll eat a damn cookie or two if I want.

I do need to exercise more to balance out the fact that I’m not highly restricting my diet.

You have diabetes and you’re eating cookies because you take medicine?? This makes zero sense. Diabetes can be completely controlled through diet. Stop eating sh*t; it’s killing you. It’s also making our medical care expensive. I feel bad for your kids because you don’t love yourself enough to stop killing yourself. Additionally, you will likely have type 3 diabetes, aka Alzheimer’s, which will place an additional burden on your family.

Get your sh*t together.

What? You are such ahole. I am prediabetic, 5’4 and a size 6. Wtf are you talking about? I’m a good person who realizes that dieting doesn’t work.

Super fit People running training for full distance Ironman and ultra marathons manage to put themselves into pre diabetes during training by eating garbage all the time outside of training to make up calories. So your size and weight isn’t all that relevant.

Stop consuming refined carbohydrates in large quantities. That isn’t dieting. It’s stopping eating garbage.

This is the weirdest nonsense on this thread. Claiming that super fit people, training for marathons and Ironman competitions, are gorging themselves to the point of becoming type 2 diabetics. Haha

Today I’ve eaten the nuts/ dates, a full fat plain Greek yogurt, half a cup of blackberries, a cauliflower thin with 2 laughing cows and I feel full and fine and normal. Helps that I’m at work I think. And no candies sitting out today. Fingers crossed I can get through the evening too.

I could have written your post myself . Weight watchers works for me when I actually follow it. You can have sweets but you have to offset the points by eating a lot of lean protein and fruits and vegetables . It’s challenging but honestly the only time I’ve been able to moderate the sweets and starchy carbs was when I was following weight watchers consistently.
