What was the real deal with Anna Nicole Smith

Anyone remember that whole sage, the marriage, the TV show, the terrible deaths of her and her son. Does anyone wonder what the deal with the lawyer was? Was he her drug dealer? Did he really care for her? She wasn't able to have an adult peer to peer relationship so what was his motivation? It was just a unique and sad sad life. That reality show was…omg…straight up terribly sad!

She was beautiful. Didn't her son die in her hospital room after she gave birth? She died 6 months later, I think. Drugs.

Her son committed suicide. She OD.

She was pretty in a very ordinary way, but not the brightest bulb. Extremely manipulative though. Got some old coot to marry her and leave her $$$.

I don’t think it’s all that mysterious or complex. She struggled with mental illness and drug addiction. He used her and enabled her for his own enrichment.

I thought her OD was accidental, and the same for her son. Her daughter was probably lucky to be raised by her father. I thought the lawyer was her boyfriend but it seemed like an odd choice.

He was a regular drug user, but he deliberately took a large amount of pills. Maybe it was accidental maybe not. He suffered from depression.

I think she was a natural beauty with some gross habits. Her t.v. show was awful and made her look low class - all the burbing and shoving food in her mouth made my stomach turn.

I think she was generally a mess, surrounded herself with enablers and wound up ODing.

I watched something a couple months ago about her death. She was actually pretty ill - running a ridiculously high temperature. I think it was exacerbated by all the meds she took, but it wasn’t an OD in the traditional sense.

How gross was Howard? I mean she was barely conscious 70 percent of the time they were together.

I remember the story well and never once heard that her son committed suicide.

Her son died of an accidental overdose of prescription medications for anxiety + depression.

I think she felt guilty for his untimely death since she gave him the meds.

Then I think after losing her son, she simply lost her will to live.
I think she purposely took a lot of medication to lessen her emotional pain, but in the end she ended up dying of a broken heart.
Any mother would.....

That Howard K. Stern looked like a creeper.
He even claimed at one time to have been Anna’s baby girl’s Father which he obviously wasn’t.
The kid looked NOTHING like him.

Now that Anna has been gone, no one even cares about the guy.
He is nothing w/out Anna.

Her son stole her meds. I think it was methodone. He took a very large amount diluted in his drink. Maybe it was a deliberate attempt to OD or maybe it was a cry for help, but there wasn’t anything “accidental” about it.

People who accidentally OD are people like Judy Garland or Heath Ledger. Their sleep medications made them confused about how much drugs they actually took.

People like philip seymour hoffman and this kid were simply drug users. Let’s not use euphemisms around drug deaths. Drug abuse is a disease.

I always felt bad for her in a way. She seemed really dumb and easily manipulated, but didn't have anyone in her life to challenge her or support her without looking for their own gain. That lawyer stuck by her because he wanted the payout from her husband's estate. I don't think there was any romantic connection necessarily. Her family all tried to capitalize on her fame and begged her for money once she got rich/famous. I think her relationship with the old guy was somewhat genuine, in that he took care of her and gave her stability and wanted to be around her (as long as she showed him the goods). Maybe that was a compromise she was willing to make.

I think her son was the only person in the world that she really loved and when he died, that was it for her. I agree that her daughter is best raised by her father, who seemed like a normal person.
