Do 6 year olds still play with play doh?

DS's birthday party is coming up and i found play doh kits that match the theme of his party that I want to use as a party favor. Is it too babyish? Box says 3 and up.

Yes! I am a Montessori teacher, and the 6 year olds like playdough as much as the 4 year olds do. My almost 5 year old DD (and I) love playdough, too

My nearly 9 year old played with it today with his little brother!

I won’t have that stinky stuff in the house. It would go in the trash, especially when given to a kid that age.

My 8.5yo does.

My 9 year old too—it was one of the few things she really wanted! She and her 7 year old sister were just playing with it yesterday.

I agree with PP that it stinks. But my 5 year old still likes it every so often. We prefer it outside.

Yes- great for sensory play! Also model magic can be cool, but Play Doh is the best

I still enjoy it at 34! I play with my six year old a few times per week

Thanks everyone! I was worried that his buddies might think it is babyish. He had a playdate recently and a friend commented that his paw patrol toys were for babies and that he only liked Lego or Star Wars. My DS is the youngest in the group and his taste seems to skew younger. Several kids are into nerf, ninjago, etc

The other kids probably have older siblings. He’s fine.

My 6 yo DD loves it. She makes dresses out of it and has been doing it since she was 2. Those dresses have evolved so much ..lol and are so so pretty !
I think it is really calming for her !
