Started making my husband bento boxes for his lunch at work

...and he is SO appreciative. He loves getting his lovingly packed boxes and bits of food and note from me . I don’t know why I wasted all of this time doing it for the kids (who hardly care) and not doing it for him.

How does he show his appreciation?

Wow, that sounds SO fulfilling! Are you a Southern Baptist by any chance? You sound like a wonderful "helpmate".

No. But to take a page from them...”bless your heart.”

Sounds like someone pissed in your cornflakes instead of making you a bento box.

Let me know how long you keep it up.

I think it sounds lovely. I seriously doubt he's the douche who's tossing it out.

Dp. I also pack my husband's lunch, but not in a bento and no note, either. He appreciates it because it keeps him trim and saves us money. I do it because his work allows me to stay out of the rat race. We are partners who love and support each other.

What do you put in a bento box for a grown up? I'm curious.

Search engines are useful, but Google is most definitely NOT your friend.

I make my husband's lunch too. We both work from home, so it is barely any extra time to make his lunch when I'm making mine.
