Newscom In March 2017, Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) successfully delayed for 11 days Senate ratification of Montenegro's entry into the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). America's leading advocate for NATO expansion, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) responded by accusing Paul of "achieving the objectives of Vladimir Putin...of trying to dismember this small country." "I repeat again," McCain said then, remarkably. "The senator from Kentucky is now working for Vladimir Putin." Perhaps even more remarkably, though not very surprisingly, McCain is unapologetic about that accusation in his valedictory new memoir, The Restless Wave: Good Times, Just Causes, Great Fights, and Other Appreciations. "Senator Paul didn't appreciate that, and I'll grant that it was an intemperate thing to say," McCain writes, with co-author Mark Salter. "But it wasn't incorrect. He might not have worked wittingly for Putin, but he was doing exactly what the Russian wanted done." |

My only surprise is that Paul is the only one who is named.
It’s pretty clear he's not the only person on the Russian payroll in Congress. |

Marx was right - capitalism will sell itself to the highest bidder.

| John McCain has a freaking deadly brain tumor. It's the tumor talking |
Trump staffer on the way home from another day of being a dirtbag? |
well.. approaching death usually loosens up one's tongue. It's the "what the F* do I have to lose" approach. |
He has a deadly glioma. He's no longer right in the head, and the drugs he's on is exacerbating that. |
This. I have seen the impairments of tumors first hand. I can't any thinking person is taking anything he has to say seriously at this point. |
He said it in March 2017, you low-information glioma on America. |
Even before the tumor destroyed his brain, he was an angry, bitter man. -- Moreover, who knows how long he has been suffering from the effects of an undetected tumor. |
So McCain spewing this kind of "hate" is because of his tumor, but Trump and Trumpsters spewing hate is just being honest and unPC? LOL Maybe Trumpsters and Trump all have undiagnosed brain tumors. Actually Trump could have a diagnosed brain tumor for all we know but that doctor who wrote his "he's in perfect health" had all Trump's medical records taken from him, so the public will never know. |
Not as long as the GOP has been affected by its Russian tumor. |
Does that PP really think a glioma appeared from nowhere? Three symptoms of gliomas: Confusion or a decline in brain function Memory loss Personality changes or irritability |
| So many of his statements appear to indicate that he is angry, bitter and vengeful. He is going to take as many people out on his way out as he can-- apparently, without remorse, without conscience and without regard to the veracity of his statements. People die one of two ways--ask anyone who deals with the dying--they either make amends and leave with peace and grace, or they lash out anyone and everyone who they perceived have wronged them or gotten in their way. It is very sad, but it appears McCain is taking the second approach. Regretfully, the bitterness and hatefulness will be his final legacy and how he is ultimately remembered. It is a shame. |
No. He will be remembered as the American hero that he is. |
