This just showed up in my email.
Dear Wilson High School Parents and Families, At Wilson High School, we highly value and are committed to fostering a learning environment where students feel safe and secure. A large part of that commitment is communicating potential safety issues with parents when they arise. I am writing to inform you of an incident that took place at school. This afternoon, several of our students became ill at school. Following proper protocols, we immediately contacted Emergency Medical Services, and the students were referred to the appropriate medical officials. The safety of our students is paramount at all times. If you have further questions, you may call the school office at (202) 282-0120 or contact me via email at kimberly.martin@dc.gov. Thank you for your support. Sincerely, Kimberly Martin Principal, Wilson High School |
That is a terrible email. Conveys no information and scares everyone. WTF?! |
Oof, I hope this wasn't Spice. |
Some kids at our school consumed edibles and hallucinated.
Not saying that is what happened. |
Six kids overdosed at the same time and were taken by ambulance in serious condition?
Not so great. |
And this is the best high school in DC. The one people buy million dollar homes to attend. |
Third best DCPS (Walls, Banneker). Fifth best public (Walls, Banneker, Latin, BASIS). |
But overdosed on what? LSD? Or Heroin? |
xanax. |
$5 says just too many pot brownies and a nurse/ems following “protocol” and they’re fine |
Don't know but I'm gonna say probably not heroin. |
Sorry but not pot brownies. I really hope boosters don't get defensive and try to make light of what is a not so secret problem at the school. |
So what was it? |
what drug though |
