I get the dislike, but what is the evidence for impeachment? I would say wait until Mueller releases his report.

Yeah, I'd say the right thing is to let Mueller do his thing. Any sense that impeachment is about who yells the loudest, and R's are going to dig in.

I thought he was going to be impeached last year - it was considered to be a sure thing and I was about to bet the farm that it would happen.

That depends. He probably has the authority to, but the political fallout would be difficult to manage. I would not be surprised if Trump fired him, if evidence of malfeasance arose in connection to the upcoming IG report. The IG report apparently provides the justification for removing McCabe and Comey. Others speculate that the IG report will undermine the entire Russia investigation, but I think thats way too early to be certain of even if Trump supporters are hoping for it.
