S/O Easter Egg Hunts - anyone been to the one at Ticonderoga?

Anonymous
I have a timid 3YO and an 18MO. After reading the horror stories of Easter Egg hunts in the other thread I'm reconsidering even going to do this next weekend. Anyone been?

Bumping, I have the same question.

Went once. I really like Ticonderogaat other times. But the egg hunt was really lame. Plus some kids were way obnoxious about grabbing up as many as they could.

All egg hunts are the same.

Have you seen hunger games?

This is pretty low key but good for timid kids.

Egg hunts suck. It'll be a mad dash and some kids and parents till get 45 and others get 2. At those ages, just hide them in your house or yard.

Ticonderoga is also insanely expensive. It's been like $75 every time we've gone.

What about Bunnyland? Yay or nay?

I'll be the dissenter. I went last weekend to Ticonderoga, and it was great! my kid is 3 and can be shy at times, and she isn't greedy yet. But she got into it and got more than enough eggs. tons of slides and playground things to do there as well, we had a great time. however, last saturday morning was definitely an off time as there were so few people there. it was cold to start so maybe that held the crowd off?
