Do you ever look at a "hot" celeb and realize they aren't really attractive?

I saw britney spears recently on t.v. (nye) and she looked really great. Beat she's looked in years. Then I realized her face isn't really that pretty. And her body is just "boy"...no defined waist and no hips really. I also had a similar revelation about Cameron Diaz. Now I look at her and think she's straight up homely. I also feel like Jennifer Aniston may belong in this group? I know I will get replies like "well let's see you op" but I'm not a famous celebrity known for my looks. I'm purely talking about people who are known as very attractive and kind of giving them a second look and not really seeing it anymore.

I agree about Spears but not the other two. Spears was pretty hard on her body when she was younger and she isn't aging well.

I think Britney has a beautiful face but agree about the body, not. great hourglass shape.
Cameron is no beauty just cute, all American girl next door, but then again shes never been known to be a true beauty.
Jennifer Aniston i think is pretty but sometimes overrated. I mean she was voted the worlds most beautiful by People mag.

In the last 10 years having been to the Hamptons (where my brother lives part of the year)I saw many celebrities.
The ones who disappointed
Gwenyth Paltrow really homily but good body
Christy Brinkley (had way too much surgery)
Catherine Zeta Jones looked very pretty (actually saw her in NYC)

The ones that looked good
Andie McDowall
Kate Capshaw (but too much makeup)
S J Parker lets just say not attractive

Sat next to Cameron Diaz at a restaurant and was surprised by how plain she looked irl.....and terrible skin. And this was when she was in her Something About Mary days.

Most of these people were either beautiful, or at least attractive, at some point in the past. It's not their fault that human lifespan is longer than the shelf life of your average celebrity.

I agree that most of these people are no more attractive than your typical "cute" girl-next-door type that you can find anywhere. The difference is expert styling and PR coaching along with media campaigns that are designed to make them seem larger-than-life.

Yes, sometimes people are good looking overall but if you look at their facial features separately, they are not good looking.

I think Britney Spears could have aged better had she taken better care of herself when she was younger.
Though I do think she is still very pretty.

Cameron Diaz was pretty when she was younger, the light blond hair + water blue eyes made her look striking.
But now in mid-life w/all her wrinkles she just isn’t an attractive celebrity.
Just an aging one.

I always thought Jennifer Aniston was really cute on Friends, but rather plain-looking everywhere else.
I read that when she filmed Friends, she used a special air-brushed makeup plus she got special facials too.
Like Cameron, she hasn’t aged too well, but decent.

She has amazing, shiny/glossy hair & a very nice figure, but her facial structure isn’t very attractive.
I.e.,
Thin lips, ugly chin and large nose.

Other celebs who are really not attractive now include:
• Madonna (has not aged well at all, thinning hair + looks like she is trying too hard when dressed sexily.)
• Sarah Jessica Parker (has a horse-type face. Take away the highlights & heavy makeup and what is truly underneath??!)
• Tori Spelling (looks exactly like her Father, Aaron Spelling....Just in a platinum blond wig!!)
• Vivica A. Fox (too much plastic surgery, should just left her once beautiful face alone!)
• Lil’ Kim (“”)
• Kendra Wilkinson
• Sandra Bullock (always thought her face was just average.)
• Mariah Carey (too much weight gain & plastic surgery on her face. Especially her cheeks.)
• Celine Dion (AMAZING voice however!!)
• Paula Cole

I've never found Cameron Diaz especially pretty, even in her younger, "hot" days. She's always reminded me of a clown, or The Joker.

I think Jennifer Aniston is pretty, but not beautiful. I'm tired of seeing her hair always in the same style - flat ironed and hanging on either side of her face. Put it up sometimes! How about a ponytail?! And her constant black dresses at awards shows. Boring.

Agree with a PP re: Justin Timberlake. I could never understand the girls and women who found him irresistible. He's funny looking.

Sandra Bullock - I've actually always found her beautiful and seriously underrated as far as looks go. Sometimes she can look stunning, but even in general I think she's very pretty.

Catherine Zeta-Jones - absolutely, hands-down gorgeous.

He's gross.

People who love him really fell in the love with the character he played.

Another example: Sam Heughan of Outlander. His character is amazing...and he looks super hot in character (especially in season 1 with that wig). IRL he is very average (and unappealing). But he does have an amazing body.
