| Every day is another circus act from Donald Trump. Elected by a clear minority, it has only been nine months and his behavior, decisions and overall effect on the country and the world is worse than anyone could have imagined. 3.5 years more of this? On the one hand I would jump for joy if he were removed from office. But on the other, taking him out early will only embolden his flaming nutjob followers who will claim that the "liberal elites" did him in. Better to run its course? Except I'm afraid of wait this country will look like when it's over. |
| This will play out how the Russians want it to, civil war. |
| Ideally it should end with Trump being humbled by the enormity of the job and having an eye-opening moment about his incompetence for the position and doing a Nixon, "I shall resign the Presidency effective at noon tomorrow." |
LOL a Humble Donald Trump can only exist in Kellyann's Alternative Universe. |
| If Robert Mueller comes out with irrefutable evidence of illegal behavior, it's lights out. |
I want to believe this but unfortunately I don't. I think Trump will convince his diehard fans that Mueller is secretly on Hillary's payroll and they'll eat it up. The people in Congress who represent those districts will NEVER initiate a public divorce because they're too chickenshit. |
| Trump will resign. I have no doubt. Then he will try to hit every TV show and talk about how "they" wouldn't let him do a great job and he doesn't need it anyway. He will look more pathetic than he does now. |
That won't bode well for liberals and democrats. I've always had a grudging respect for the Russians, from back in the Cold War. |
I'd agree except remember we are dealing with a malignant sociopath. He would rather personally burn down the White House with his entire family in it than admit defeat. Literally. |
Possible. The Fatso is insane so it is hard to predict. |
As stressful as this presidency has been, I think it is best that it runs its course for the very reason you stated--if he is removed, his supporters won't blame him or the GOP. They will foolishly blame the Dems and anyone who does not support him. They need to own this, and the only way they will is if he serves his entire term. |
Honestly, I think if people continue to put the squeeze on him with regard to self-dealing where it becomes impossible for him to keep doing it, then he might decide it's in his best interest to resign. He could easily say that Washington is more broken than he thought, and he has decided to help the American people in other ways. Then he could go on a rally tour, people will think he's doing something, and he can keep raking in the dough. It's a win all around. GOP Congress could honestly squeeze him on graft without losing his base necessarily. |
What. the. hell. is. wrong. with. you. |
So you would side with the team Russia. Got it! |
|
I hope the level of corruption in the GOP and the extent to which and years they have worked at Russia's behest is revealed. I want it made clear that Fox is propaganda. I want lying sites out of business. I want the Fairness Doctrine back.
But I agree that the crazies have been whipped into a frenzy. Anyone with two brain cells to rub together can tell something illegal happened with Russia, to say nothing of the obstruction after the fact, but the extent is unknown. I think there will be fighting. Which is what Russia wanted and what the GOP worked for. |
