Experience with Ricardo Perez, DDS?

Anonymous
Has anyone taken their DC to see this dentist in Maryland? I would appreciate any feedback!

Thank you!

He isn't our regular dentist, but we took DS to him a couple years ago when we had a dental emergency (son fell down and knocked out a tooth) and he could see us immediately when our regular dentist was out of town. We liked him--very personable and friendly, and our son liked him as well. We don't have a lot of experience with him, though, just the one time, but it was positive.

We´ve been going for regular annual check-ups for 3-4 years now and really really like him. They have never required nothing major, so we don´t have any experience beside that stuff that is done in those check-ups.
He is really nice and his staff is very friendly.

We've been going for a few years for checkups and had good experiences. Once my then-3 year old gave them a hard time (didn't like the flouride treatment).
Nice office -- expensive though!

Nice office. Kids love to go there. Dr and nurses are all nice and friendly. One of the most expensive.

Dr. Perez and his staff are excellent. The office is also up-to-date and very child-friendly. We took DD there for an emergency--she fell down and her two front teeth were pushed way back into her gums (ouch!). He answered our call right away (over the weekend) and saw us first thing Monday morning. Instead of pulling them right away, Dr. Perez told us to wait and watch the teeth/gum carefully over the next few weeks. There is a slight chance that they may re-erupt. We went back again after a month and he again told us to keep brushing them and watch the teeth/gum carefully for any infections (sign that the nerves might be dead).

It has been 9 months since the accident, and DD's front teeth have actually gone back to their original position! Thank goodness and Dr. Perez!

I think he is pretty thoughtful and careful ... does what is right for the kid, which may be to wait and see, as PP noticed. Like him a lot.

Not the Op, but thanks for the feedback. Does he require yearly Xrays? Looking for a pedi DMD who will let us pass on the Xrays for a while, until DD is older!

I don't think my son had yearly xrays from him. I agree with all the PPs that he is great.
