The reason I ask is that there was a new thread on the private school forum asking if you are grateful to be in private school based on the news coming out of Rockville and MCPS. I was just about ready to post a reply and the thread suddenly disappeared. There wasn't anything offensive on there...in fact there was only one response.

I am not banning references to the the RHS incident and there are several threads on the topic. I removed the thread you referenced because it was very trollish and was going to provoke a big fight. Of course rapes occur in private schools as well as threads in our private schools forum will attest.

OK, I see what you are saying. I was going to make a comment about single sex schools...because that indeed is an environment where rape is unlikely to occur.

Since that thread is at least theoretically about the incident that occurred in a MCPS school, I'll leave it in that forum, but I am keeping fairly strict guidelines on it.
