National Theater Broadway Subscription for 17/18 includes Hamilton at Kennedy Center

Seems like a great way to guarantee seats for Hamilton (and the rest of the season is pretty good). I thought Kennedy Center had said you had to buy 2 seasons worth 16/17 and 17/18 to get first dibs on seats for Hamilton. My question is..if you pick your season seats for shows at National Theater how will that correspond to seats at Kennedy Center?

Thanks!

The subscriber package says all seats will be on the Orchestra level

Yes - but if I pay extra for first half of orchestra center...I wonder if it will mean first half of orchestra center for Kennedy Center too. And doesn't this kind of screw over those who bought the 16/17 season at the Kennedy Center in hopes of getting good seats for Hamilton? Or will great seats be saved for those subscribers I wonder?

OMG thank you OP. I had no idea this was possible. Just bought subscriptions.

I bought the 2016/2017 Kennedy center subscription. I understand I can get those same seats now for 2017/2018. I got Friday evening. I believe other choices were Sat or Sun. Are you choices another day? Maybe that's how the seating works out.

OP here - No - I bought Friday night, Row R, Center....maybe seats closer to the stage were reserved for Ken Center subscribers? But I'm going to be pissed if I end up in the back of Orchestra, on the side, at the Ken Center. Fingers crossed.

Yeah maybe different seats available like yours were never open to KC subscribers - who knows!

Even if you are, all the orchestra seats at the Kennedy Center are pretty good. I'd be thrilled just to be in the theatre!

I got Row L, seats in the 20s. Hope they are okay. Website kept crashing on me, so I bought what I could.

Ooh...Mean Girls is coming. When do individual tickets go on sale?

Very helpful OP! I think this is the best info I've ever gotten off of DCUM. Thanks.

Yep - got my season tickets a couple weeks ago - world premiere of Mean Girls, Les Mis, Waitress, Something Rotten AND Hamilton at KC - can't go wrong next season.
