Reading articles, comments, the delayed response (letter Monday because it was the first business day according to the county council and mcps even though it happened on Thursday) his comments last night
Many folks are even more outraged. Is this the beginning of the end for him? |
|
No. He said the responsibility lies with the student, which is 100% true. Ridiculous attacks like "why is an 18 year old in school with a 14 year old? ... uh, because those are the ages of high schoolers all over the country?
He's a great change for the district and should be promoted, not denigrated. |
| Who else would take the job? The BOE is terrible and MCPS has no control over anything apparently. A nightmare situation. |
I started to sense that the last go around with the interview process. |
| What's he make per year? |
Good question... |
Sheesh... they had to do some kind of investigation/verification. Alleged perpetrators were removed from the school so there was no immediate danger. |
| He looks pretty old, I'm sure his pension is near 100% and he couldn't care less if he left. |
Okay, Jack |
You're a moron. |
Is your Google broken? $275K plus company car. https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/education/montgomerys-new-superintendent-gets-4-year-contract-275000-salary/2016/03/08/0135e7ce-e4b5-11e5-bc08-3e03a5b41910_story.html?utm_term=.09f8b7ef386e |
Plus a boatload of other perks. |
Nice. He's not even worth 1/8th of that after seeing him at the meeting on Tuesday. He just wants to sail on into retirement? Or maybe he wants to run for office when he's done with MCPS. But, he certainly doesn't care about the kids. |
Many folks support him. Me, for example. Also, the members of the Board of Education. |
I think that you meant to type, "He didn't say what I want him to say." |
