Potomac players were at that concert too. It was the skipping practice part that got PVI into trouble, evidently. It was no problem going to practice, then to concert.

Good for the coach to bench them for missing practice. During season priority should be lacrosse. They are letting their team down by being selfish.

Priority should be school. Then lacrosse.

You think a high school kid going to a concert is selfish. You must have been a complete nerd in HS. Plus, I have a hunch some girls from the winning team also went to see Luke.

Getting hammered the night before your game, that's a different story. But, going to a concert allowed a HS nerd to be self righteous as an adult, so I guess everybody wins.

missing something that you have agreed to be part of to do something for yourself, is yes selfish. It's called giving a commitment to do something for a season and giving up other things to not let a team down. I'm sorry if you're a selfish adult who doesn't keep to commitments you've given to others. I'd hate to have to rely on you for anything.

You have missed the point. Missing practice to go to the concert is the selfish part, not the going to the concert itself. You are missing a key point. Just because you are a starter/one of the better players does not give you a free pass to skip practice for a non-school sponsored even/important family event.

I'm the PP (the second one not the self-righteous DB above mine. I did tons of similar things in advance of matches when I was in HS (including getting drunk the night before and smoking weed on the course when out of sight of any of the coaches) and none of my team mates felt let down on the rare occasions that I lost.

You're talking about practice?! Not a game. Not a game! Practice.

Stop.

Likely a top 5 team in the area.

GC, visi, SR and BI are better than Potomac.

What team has BI beaten of note that warrants this status?

Well they just beat Potomac. Does that count? And Q the excuses……

Wow. What was score? Heard one of Potomac's Duke commits didn't play.

BI dominated the first half & was up 7-3 at halftime.
Final score was 8-7 with a strong BI defensive show to keep Potomac from the comeback they worked hard to mount in 2nd half.
It was an exciting game!

PVI vs Collegiate score?

100%. It is the coaching and coaching staff’s responsibility to nip that kind of behavior in the bud…in any sport. Failure to do so only encourages the continuation of poor behavior and breeds contempt among other players who treat teammates respectfully and don’t get the same long leash as well.

And watching the PVI team yell at each other - yikes

They have a couple of toxic players for sure.

These types of comments are unnecessary and inappropriate. Do better.

Please explain how this is inappropriate. Someone who watched a game witnessed them yelling at each other. It is not a little secret that nobody did not know about them. The team and the players are known in conference and community. What is inappropriate is the way some players treat and talk to others on that team and that the coaching staff allow it. Now if I was to name the names what would be not nice.

Anonymous wrote:SSSAS score?

6-4 Episcopal

With who SSSAS lost to injury this year, did not expect it to be that close.

I’d be interested to know if SSSAS played a long possession game to limit EA’s chances. It wouldn’t surprise me.

Episcopal was up 6-1 earlier in game. They just played and beat Mcdonogh and have St Johns today. They rested top players.

Score was 4-2 at halftime and Episcopal scored 4th with a buzzer beater to close the half. I think episcopal ran out the lock with possession for the last 4-6 minutes of the game.

By one? That’s your flex? You really think BI is in the same league as SR and GC? Put down the bottle.
