4.5ish last I looked. Has fallen steadily. Not sure why. I wait outside and don't make them drive around for me. But I have dared to ask 1-2x for them to turn on the AC (or turn down if it's too cold). I don't chat - but they don't initiate so I think of them as NYC cabbies who don't want to talk to you. I think those things have brought down the rating over time. Oh well.

Mine is a 4.9 and I also never tip.

To PPs asking, I just googled "what is my uber rating" and it took me to a webpage that prompted me to sign in and then request the rating.

I work on a one way street and my office is on the left hand side. To get to home you need to turn left. I am not crossing to the right hand side and then having to got 3 blocks out of the way to get to the same place we would be if the driver just pulled up on the right side of the street. Seems reasonable to be but I know some drivers aren't happy when I won't cross 3 lanes of traffic to get to them. Oh well.

I also am not a fan of the drivers who want me to walk to them.

I agree. Huge pet peeve. Just go to the actual address I entered into the app! Geez.

I think the consumer rating thing is just really creepy. Consumers should rate drivers and flag inappropriate behavior, not the other way around. Getting ready to delete Uber for Lyft.

I hate to break it to you but not only can lyft drivers rate passengers just the same as uberX drivers do, a lyft driver can also leave a little note about the rider right under the rating. (uberX drivers only have the option to rate 1-5 stars, but leaving an actual comment about a rider is more complicated.)

Lastly, your rating as a rider means nothing, zip, zilch, nada. 99% of drivers don't care and its only purpose is to assure that ridesharing remains safe for both riders AND drivers.

I have 26 rides and a 5 rating. It is probably because I mention I used to drive limousines. We swap stories about crazy trips and drunk riders.

+1. Mine's 4.56, and it was the same deal. I was exactly where I said I would be, the street was massively busy, and I couldn't hear/understand the thick accent of the driver, and he clearly couldn't understand me. We never connected. The next driver asked me "what happened on your last trip?" because the driver rated me low, and I think he could tell I was a friendly person. It's a ridiculous system.

4.95. I take uber at least three times a week and I never tip.

Of course, I also never make drivers wait and I am kind and courteous.
