Are you given money other than allowance?
What gifts do 15 yr old girls want to get?

I don't have a set allowance. My parents give me money for the movies, mall, online clothes shopping, specific items/needs (lunch, emergency money) and that kind of acts as my allowance. I don't get paid for the chores i do, they are expected to be done. My friends' allowances vary... one friend gets 15-25/week; others less because they have jobs, some in same scenario as me. I treat the money my parents give me for specific events/ items as allowance... i. e. if they give me $50 for the mall and i only spend $25, then i still have $25 left over to save or spend on something not at the mall. I always have emergency money in my phone case that my parents tell me not to spend.
Gifts: gift cards to (or items from): starbucks, hollister, forever 21, pacsun, sephora, j crew, nordstrom, vineyard vines, pink, south moon under; earrings; nice makeup

OP (going to sleep now!)

Not particularly. There are many course options that you can choose to take that have more of a STEM focus. It is a generalization that guys are more involved in STEM than girls, it has a lot to do with your course selection. This is pretty much the same for all schools, public or private, unless you go to TJ, which obviously has a strong STEM focus.

What high school do you go to, OP?

Are you at a private or public school?
Is there a mean girl culture at your school there and how do you deal with it?
You sound too sensible to be a mean girl but I'll ask anyway - are you a mean girl?

Not particularly, although i am moderately picky.

Not sure what you mean by that!

Currently public, but I've been in both fairly recently and i have close friends at both.

There are many more "mean girls" in public school. I ignore it, like most people. In high school it's much easier to just not let that stuff get to you.

I don't consider myself a "mean girl", but at times I can be a tad judgmental.

That's kind of a hard question to answer, but I look up to my parents, charismatic teachers, and nice people (my age).

I look up to them mostly because I want to be more like them.

My behavior is mostly my own but also modeled after people I want to be more like.

OP, having been in both types of schools, what are your thoughts on things that the public school system is doing right vs. things it could improve upon?
