With all these comedians, I think it’s really difficult to stay funny after becoming really successful. They just are less in touch with common people’s issues. I say that about stand up and haven’t seen this show. But her most recent comedy special is so much less funny than her earlier ones.

I haven't seen her most recent comedy special, but I don't think that's the PP's issue with the show.

The show is not meant to be a laugh riot. Especially Season 2, which is about realizing your partner is on the autism spectrum and how that changes your lives and relationship. I still think it's very funny in parts, but it also has a lot of serious stuff in it. As long as the serious stuff is interesting and well written/acted/directed, I don't mind.

I think if you are watching the show expecting the equivalent of a stand up special, you will be disappointed. But like One, Mississippi and other somewhat dramatic shows from comedians, this show is not mean to be pure comedy.

Season 2 is really good. It deals with a bunch of issues well in an unpreachy way.

I thought Season 2 Episode 5 "Claire", when her friend meets his daughter, was a very well done episode. The actor was incredible. Going from coked out to extremely emotional. I really enjoyed the stand-alone ep.

Just finished season 2. Episode 10 was amazing. I like how it’s not as formulaic as most shows.

How did she not realize Michael Cera was on the spectrum before marrying him? Anyone on DCUM had that dude diagnosed working 5 minutes of meeting him.

Not everyone is familiar with how people on the spectrum should or would act.
