What's your favorite hotel in New Orleans?
I'm looking for something romantic, with a pool, in the French Quarter but maybe not right on Bourbon Street. Time of year: April. Thanks! |
Windsor Court! |
I loved Hotel Monteleone |
+1 on the Windsor Court. Hard to beat their service and it feels super romantic. DH and I have stayed there a lot and always go back. |
Also, Windsor Court is not directly in the French Quarter, but in the CBD and super walkable to French Quarter. |
The Roosevelt! Its romantic, not right on Bourbon Street but close, and I've always had a great experience with their service. They have a pool too. |
w French quarter small secluded |
Stay at a Bed and Breakfast in the Garden District. The French Quarter is great but you'll max out after one or two nights there. Garden District will give you access to all the gems: uptown (Audobon Park), Magazine Street (boutique shopping mecca), and the Quarter. Take it from someone who lived there for 10+ years. |

I like that idea but I can't find any in the Garden District with a pool...and I really want some reading, relaxing time at the pool. |
Monteleone and Ritz Carlton. |
Windsor Court or Roosevelt. |
This might not be your cup of tea, but the Hampton Inn Garden District has a pool and (as you might guess) is in the Garden District. Right on the St Charles streetcar line. |
I stayed at the Sheraton and really liked it. |
