Larry G Nassar, MD, found to be sexually abusing Olympic athletes. Was also employed by Michigan State who initially ignored the reports.

Can someone please post some links? Thank you.

Third, please stop using the word "ANOTHER" to kick off posts like this -- you make it sound like it's common for doctors to abuse kids. It's not.

Not OP, but I'll post the story because

1. I realize it's not always easy to post an article.

2. It's an important story, more important than correcting grammar and trying to out-snark each other to win points with the hive.

he former team physician for USA Gymnastics is facing allegations of sexual abuse by two former gymnasts.

One of the gymnasts filed a civil lawsuit against Dr. Larry G. Nassar in California that was released Monday. Another gymnast filed a complaint with Michigan police two weeks ago. The women said they were molested multiple times in the 1990s and early 2000s.

Nassar, who was USA Gymnastics' team physician during four Olympics before resigning last September, has not been charged with a crime. His attorney, Matthew Borgula, said Nassar "emphatically" denies any wrongdoing, according to the Indianapolis Star.

"Dr. Nassar, to the extent the allegations are against him, adamantly denies any misconduct at this or any other time," Borgula said.

Last month, an Indianapolis Star investigative piece reported that USA Gymnastics executives repeatedly failed to forward allegations of sexual abuse at its member clubs to law enforcement authorities, relying instead on a policy of not alerting authorities unless allegations came directly from an athlete or an athlete's parent or guardian...

"Another" is misleading. Have there been cases in the headlines every week? Every month?

I'm glad these women spoke out, it takes courage.

OP, why were you unable to post a link to the story? Maybe we can help you.

Just imagine the countless victims who didn't have the encouragement and support to speak out to the authorities.

The very bad doctor should be hung by his balls.
