I was very tolerant towards Trump supporters today and I am VERY proud of myself!

Today I was talking with two very nice people who informed me that Hillary Clinton

founded ISIS,
destroyed Libya and the middle east,
and murdered her IT guy.

I thought about it for a moment and made a split second decision that trying to correct these people was a completely hopeless endeavor, so all I said was

I think Trump is very crazy and disrespectful, I don't think he has good advisors, and I am voting for Clinton. It's a hard choice, isn't it?

I am SO PROUD of myself. So is DH. Little steps, little steps!

I think you've got a ways to go before you get to very tolerant, OP. Keep practicing. Just the last sentence would have been sufficient.

They disagreed with me that he has bad advisors, they "saw" one of his advisors (in real life, on TV, I'm not sure), and they were very impressed, and they think that his "advisors" are going to be very good and solve the middle east crisis. Then they doubled down on the claims that Hillary murders people for fun.

Basically their argument is that some "good advisors" are going to take over his presidency and do a good job. My response to that, in my mind was "I'd like to be smoking whatever you guys are."

Trump is going to outsource the presidency to Bangledesh. He can hire close to 500 people for the salary.

lol... more like 40,000 people.

I just looked at the profile for his national security advisors. None of them seem to have much military experience in the Middle East.
