I had a revaluation today, and my head is spinning. I see clues in Red and 1989. Matty is Style, he is the one with the James Dean look, down to the cigarettes. If we’re to believe the ttpd lyrics as gospel, he love bombed her and then ghosted. and this is after a possible relationship/situationship years previously. how is that an epic love story that should be rekindled?
it still sounds to me like a really self destructive way to have dealt with the end of her longest relationship. the one she at least for several years that was the one. it was a bad idea, a rebound and a rekindling of something that should have stayed buried.
i think the tatty stans are going to be a new subset of swiftie similar to the haylors and gaylors.

The guy was getting death threats and slander like you wouldn’t believe. Worse yet, people were targeting his parents, younger brother and his bandmates too. He has been with the band since he was 13. 13! They are family. All of a sudden all was on the line. Imagine how you would feel - torn between your love and your responsibility to your band, family and fans. Yah, he could have been tougher and tried not to give a damn, but part of what makes Healy her favorite tortured poet is that he feels deeply and is a sensitive soul. Can’t imagine being in his shoes tbh. Then or now.
