Feel like a failure because I didn't marry rich

Anonymous
Everyone I know did. Everyone in my circle married men a few notches above their ses. These guys are world class engineers, entrepreneurs and financiers.
I love my dh but he's not rich or fancy.he likes simple things and doesn't aspire to be one of the world class. I never thought it would bug me but now it does.

If you want to be rich, go out and make your own money. Nothing feels better than being responsible for your own successes.

Are these trolls using the same IP address? If so, Jeff can block it easily. Granted, there are loopholes.

I'm rich! I'm rich! Hook up with me and I'll take you out for some tuna buffet.

What exactly do you feel you're missing here, OP?
Luxury?
Ambition - to do what?
I assume you're not poor. Can you get a new set of friends that are like you and DH, and just be happy?
YOU ONLY HAVE ONE LIFE.

Do you feel like a failure because you haven't made your own money? If not, why not?

sorry OP. this area makes it hard sometimes because SO MANY people are wealthy or have family money. easier said than done but if you have a good marriage then be thankful for what you have. lots of people would give away their possessions for someone who loves and is committed to them!

I think fried tuna should enter the DCUM lexicon, like Larla, Executive, and Pine Cone Lady. Every time we see a troll post we should just say

Fried tuna anybody???
