Can you really have a flat stomach after C-section?

Or it is impossible without cosmetic surgery?
My baby is 2 years old. I look thinner than before pregnancy, but my tummy muscles are terrible .

Yes, it will take time and work. Mine is flat finally after 5 years and a second pregnancy (but not a second C Section) Good luck!

What did you do or not eat (what kind of food to avoid)?

Janet Zalman is a fabulous nutritionist who can help you with an eating plan. She was great for me and didn't bat an eye when I said at 42 with 2 kids (one C) that I needed to lose 5 to 10 lbs to get back into my clothes that I had mistakenly taken in too much six months earlier. What she says really makes sense.

I don't eat a lot of starches and fats. Yes, you can get your flat stomach back. Nearly all of my friends have done it - most of us have had two c-sections, several had had three.

Exercise and eating well are the trick!

Does this mean giving up wine with dinner?? If i am just "throwing something on the table" water is fine. But on the nights that I make a "real dinner" (at least 3-4 nights a week), I love having a glass of wine to compliment the meal.

However, for a slimmer tummy I will cut back. My goal is not completely flat, just less pudge.

Yes - 2 c sections and my stomach is completely flat again. A lot of it is genetics, but I also think Pilates has really helped.
