Applicant with about 1600 SAT and about 3.3 gpa accepted to UVA ED

Apparently an applicant with around 1600 SAT and around 3.2 - 3.4 gpa with no awards, no ECs, no officer positions, no research, no community service etc. accepted ED to UVA from N. VA. Not URM, not legacy, not recruited athlete. Is this possible?

Maybe an admissions experiment to confirm that perfect SATs trump 12 years of voila and travel soccer and competitive gymnastics.

So you know everything there is to know about this kid? Maybe she wrote some killer essays. Maybe she has more to her than you know. How do you know her GPA and test scores? You just never know what is true and what is a lie. She could also have a connection.
