Hi-
My 3 year old son had a bad experience the first time we went to a dentist last year and I have been putting off having him go again. So, I am looking for a new dentist to bring him to. Preferably one that has the set up where there is only one patient in each area (not 3 chairs in a row next to each other) and preferably one that takes Aetna. Suggestions? TIA. |
I am not sure if she takes Aetna, but I have been very happy with Dr. Jayne Delaney in Alexandria.

We really like Dr. Niloo in Oakton. The chairs are not totally private though, just divided by a barrier. |
Dr Davis in Tysons is great. The office is set like a zoo--zebra sinks, lots of toys, etc. It was really great for my 3 year old when he went for the first time, he loved it.

A barrier is OK. The one we went to first had no division at all, just 3 chairs in a row, and my son was freaked out by the kids crying on either side of him. |

i too go to dr. niloo @ children's dentistry of oakton. she and her staff are wonderful! my daughter is usually very leary when it comes to strangers, but she has no problem there. |
Dr. Gazori in lansdowne has a private room for infants and toddlers. It has a door not a barrier only. It looks like a mini nursery with a soft rocking chair, stuffed animals, books, etc...The rest of his operatories are divided by a barrier that is about two feet thick. |
