Me back again. Last night after midnight (so technically, today, 5/5) I got the St Augustine ad (with the scrolling 3 windows I posted before). It hit me like 4 times within about 8 minutes before I just decided to get off of DCUM last night. Again, I was on a Win11 laptop running Chrome. When this happens to me, I cannot get to the browser bar to add #audit to the end of the web address (hence why I sent you the screencaps, which I could still do). |
Hopefully this will be addressed tomorrow. I guess nothing was done over the weekend. |
On safari this morning ind 2 whole screen ads popped up. One for Marines and one for Avalon:

PP here. The enormous ads are still happening. (Desktop). |
Thanks for letting me know. |
Got the giant St. Augustine ad again just now, 3 times on different pages. |
+1 also still getting these on chrome |
I have had the St Augustine ad more than previously today I have sent like 15 audit reports in. I'm the one who keeps noting that I think the advertisers might have figured out how to game the audit tool, because only small squares are popping up to report, not the main ad itself. |
You can stop reporting through the audit tool now. I have asked for more information about what is happening with those reports because it doesn't seem like they have any impact. Have you or can you provide a screenshot of the ad? I have seen smaller versions of that ad, but not a full screen. Sometimes our ad partner can identify the ad through a screenshot. |
On a positive note I’ve gotten this ad only once today, as opposed to last week when I was getting it every 5 minutes. |
Seeing these ads so many times today. The audit tool is useless; I have been using it since last week and it’s not doing a damn thing. |
I'm the PP who posted the above 3 images. This has gotten me about 6 times in the last 40 minutes. I am on my Win11 laptop with Chrome, so I can refresh the screen to get rid of it here. But it's still very annoying to be reading a page and it just flips to the image and blocks the page. I can reload, then have to find where I was again. Very disruptive. |
+1 Nothing works, they have been popping up for days and people have been complaining about it. |
It just happened again - St Augustine ad. I am using chrome and windows. I used the #audit to report it, FWIW. |
