As to what it is he saw, I don’t know. But it seems to me that he’s hovering in between this world and the next. Maybe he saw someone from his past, maybe he saw himself, maybe a vision of God or an angel or the soul. Probably not something my earthly mind can understand. But it put him at peace and he is ready for the next journey. And that made me happy.
