I wasn't terribly impressed last year, but my kid had fun. It's a decent camp, just way too expensive for what they provide. $300 per week and I might consider it again, but not for $400 plus per week. The best part was the pool. The worst part were the counselors, particularly the head counselor who had no energy whatsoever. One week a big event was a talent show, but they never sent home any information to the parents and didn't teach the kids any moves either. Finally we found out the day before that we had to provide music. Watching the show where no one had really practiced at all and half the kids didn't even participate was quite painful and a waste of time for both parents and kids. Another week my kid went to Kings Dominion and the counselors had the kids wait while they each went on two or three rides that the kids were too short to ride themselves. If you ask parents to pay for a high end camp, you should provide this experience. Otherwise lower your fees to be more in line with rec type camps.
