Do you shop at While Foods?

I want to eat healthy organic food and find WF so overpriced! How can anyone reasonably shop there?

I shop at Whole Foods and Trader Joes and local farmers markets. We spend a lot of money on food. You might want to ask for this thread to be deleted (embarrassing title typo and all) and start a new one in the Foods topic, you'll get better answers I would bet.

I misread this as White Foods!

I once went to a pop up restaurant that was nothing but white colored foods. It was so strange and psychologically everything just tasted kinda bland.

I prioritize food over other things. I don't buy expensive beauty products or fancy clothes.

So go to TJ's/Costco/MOM's or join a CSA. This isn't exactly rocket science.

I dislike a few white foods like mayo, but I know a woman with a pathological fear of them. Mayo, yogurt, cream cheese, etc. she just gags.

I'm trying to think: white potatoes, maybe white chicken or white pork, white corn or white asparagus. What else did they serve?

My almost 5 year old DD is like this. We add food coloring to her whipped cream.

We spend a disproportionate amount of $ on food.

Their Joy mayo is the best ever. No ingredient you can't pronounce.

No, I go to MOM's.

I'm trying to remember the full menu but I think it was

Scallop carpaccio
Jicama spring rolls the clear Vietnamese kind (it had other things, hearts of palm, onion etc)
Potato bisque
Branzino with cauliflower mash
Pork medallion and risotto
Panna cotta

All served with white wine, there was also a white russian served martini style at the beginning.

Yeah, that's bizarre. I like a color-themed meal (used to make all red/green foods for Christmas dinner, etc), but all white just feels so austere.

CSAs are a crap shoot and depend on whether or not they will want their crops when its hot like it is now. We did a CSA for 3 years and got tired of either getting a ton of the same thing for weeks (one time it was all peaches) or having our food rot on the porch because it came from the farm with pests. I would go to TJ's and call it a day.
