all sorts of things, usually see how the topics are flowing each day then post based on that or the news. many times I can tell a thread is dying a slow death and with a single post it will be revived

Is there some amount of truth in your posts? Or 100% fabricated?

Do you do it out of boredom? Or do you see people get invested in a post and feel good because you feel smarter than them knowing that they 'fell for it'?

this bored can be great at times and rather dull at other times. I think we are all addicted to it, sort of like a train wreck, I tend to get varied responses, some along the lines of my thinking, and some the complete opposite which make for fun threads

good question, a few 100% fake, some are things that come to my mind and I actually would value some opinions on things I might have heard or seen, some are hybrid of my creative mind

At times yes, bored, at times I like to start a heated debate that lasts for days. I am not smarter than anyone but I will sometimes post atopic on something I know a lot about and enjoy hearing the "know it alls" try to educate others with false information.
