Me too. I remember this one so well -- I shared it w/ my DH and we were both agog at the thought of spending 3K a month.
I think it definitely had to be coke or gambling. There's no other explanation. I doubt OP is ever going to come back just to appease our curiosity, but I do hope she's ok. |

It is one of the below: 1. he is planning on leaving, disappearing so you can't find him, and is making sure he has enough to get far, far away. 2. The above and he is taking girlfriend with him. 3. Expensive porn habit. 4. Gambling somewhere with cash. 5. drugs. The only one you can truly eliminate is drugs. So I'm betting it is 2. Close credit cards or get new ones in your name only and he can't use them; open new bank account in your name only; have everything put in your name only. Otherwise, you might come home someday and find furniture gone, house, cars, and, maybe, even child or children are gone. Something is going on and you can't continue to ignore this problem because it isn't ging to go away. |

Hm...
Saying "I don't know where it goes" means that he needs to keep much, much better track of where it goes! Is he a 'hoarder'? Does he go out for lunches, drinks, etc? I think I could spend $3000 a month in cash (ahem).  But I don't.

| Does he have new things at home to show for his spending? Clothes, shoes, haircut, TV, computer, new car? I mean as a free spending women with lots of access to cash I am having a hard time trying to figure out how I would blow through 3K in one month with NOTHING to show for it and the only thing I can come up with is coke and gambling.
