If you didn't vote for Raskin you need a mental health check?

OMG. This is perfect.

Dan Cox is a wingbat loon.

Bless your heart.

Sort of like how House Republicans voted 50 times to repeal Obamacare (until this month when they had the actual power to do it and were then too scared to act.)

Sometimes you have to do what is right, even if the odds for success are slight. I'm a Republican in Maryland who didn't vote for Raskin, but I thank him for this action.

Did you vote for Trump or Clinton?

Also, if he's so fit to serve, why not just take a weekend off from golf and violating the emoluments clause and submit to a psychiatric evaluation? If he's not experiencing the dementia that his behavior, speech, and tweets would suggest, there's no harm.

If he's fine it's no big deal, right?

I support any effort to remove Donald Trump from our presidency and, hopefully, have him thrown in jail.

Like I stated, let's repeal and replace Trump. I'm on board. Somebody's got to start the ball rolling.

Were you also a Republican when Harry Reid and the Democrat senate didn't pass a budget for five years?

Yes.

I seem to recall ending up with quite a few CRs with the Republicans in charge. And oh, let's not forget about that time the Republicans shut down the government because we couldn't even get that.

I guess you don't live in the DC area, huh?

+1000 Most of my politically aware friends in DC know who Jamie Raskin is. OP is just another whining troll.

For example, the House passed over 50 measures to repeal the ACA over the past 6 years. Were you complaining about that waste of time too?

Yes, I thought that was futile as well ...... and fyi, I am a liberal who finds these meaningless actions to be a waste of time. If Raskin and his ilk are trying to rally the base, they are already opposed to Trump and don't need rallying. If the goal is to remove Trump then it is a waste of time because it will not happen through invoking the 25th amendment. It would not have surprised me if someone like Maxine Waters came up with a nutty idea like this one but to think that it is gaining currency among the more sane Democrats just blows my mind.

It's the "I'm a liberal, but..." troll

Oh, I don't know. Jamie Raskin won his House seat in November 2016 with 59% of the vote. What percent of the vote did Donald Trump get?

Your representative of why America is flowing down shit river. You're too dumb to vote.

A con artist like Raskin has ability to gaining CONfidence of his marks. All con artists are sociopaths. That makes Raskin dangerous to America.

Number of votes he was able to dupe reveals just how good a con artist he is.

Ah. So 3 million more people voted for Clinton than Trump, but that just proves that Clinton is a better con artist than Trump?

Subtract voter fraud from the '16 election, and President trump won the popular vote.

Proof? No? Really? None? Why the "fake news"? ie lies?

Your man LOST the popular vote. Deal with it. Most Americans hate him.

No, not really. The majority of American voters voted for another candidate, not Trump. Yes, he's in power, but it's a pretty questionable win, especially as his win was enabled by the Russians, an avowed enemy of the USA.

I disagree with this, actually. People need encouragement and signs of action, however futile.

Talk of impeachment and invoking the 25th Amendment only harms the credibility of future impeachment managers in 2019 if/when Trump actually does something that is impeachable. Mean tweets and conspiracy theories about Russia are not going to get the job done. Trump won the election. Get over it and try to elect moderate/sensible Democrats in 2017 and 2018. Has anyone won a fight with Trump when stooping to his level? Ask President Rubio. Or Kathy Griffin. Even Elizabeth Warren goes too far.

I'm sorry, whaaaaa?? The man has violated so many laws... Here, I'll mention a few: nepotism by installing his daughter and son-in-law in high positions in the WH, repeated violations of the emoluments clause of the US Constitution, admitted to sexual assault... Can't remember all the others, but google it yourself. His lies are abundant and his behavior despicable, n.b. the recent tweets about Mika and Joe. Anyone else in the world would be fired for such behavior, but Trump waddles along because the Republicans enable him. They are as despicable as he is.

But in 2018, Democrats will control the House and Senate and kick his fat a$$ out of office.

Patience, my friend. There is no proof of voter fraud yet. But after the federal government strong arms states by forcing them by the tip of a sword to turn over all of their voters' personal identifying information, so that the voter fraud commission can manipulate and molest the data to confirm a foregone conclusion, there will be proof.

There you go...simultaneously seeking to invoke the 25th Amendment and a criminal investigation doesn't make Democrats look insane at all.

I couldn't bring myself to vote for either one, so I voted Libertarian.
I did vote for Raskin's Republican opponent Dan Cox.
And Trump's childish tweets make me worry that the leader of the United States might be mentally unstable. So I support Raskin's proposal to create a Congressional oversight commission, even though I disagree with Raskin on almost everything else.

While I disagree with the "Lock Him Up" chant there's nothing at all insane about it. His mental faculties are seriously slipping. Compare interviews with him from 15 or 20 years ago to today and you'll see a marked deterioration in his speech patterns and he makes a lot less sense today as compared to years ago. But that said, even back then his enterprises were implicated in quite a few scams and criminality over the years (Trump University swindle, Trump casino money laundering, screwing over his contractors and suppliers and not paying them, thuggishly using eminent domain to take land from people, et cetera) he still does not care much about the laws of the land.
