Confused about pregnancy test

Any update, OP?

You’re definitely pregnant, whether or not the pregnancy is viable or if your body will expel it on its own isn’t really relevant at this point. The sooner you take the abortion pills the less of a “production” the whole thing will be and the greater chance the pills alone will work.

Thanks everyone. I went to the clinic first thing. I got the first pill. I’m okay. And yes I wanted this. I just didn’t know about the timing

Hugs, OP! Buy a pint of ice cream and some scented candles and take care of yourself the next few days! <3

Best wishes for a quick and relatively pain free resolution, OP.

i did the pills when i was 9 weeks along (lost heartbeat, hoping to avoid another d+c). it wasn't terrible or painful, i just needed to be home for the day. and then had to do a second round since the sono showed not all came out. a 11-12 week miscarriage/abortion can be a horrorshow, but 5-6 week one should just be a slightly heavier period with some cramping. take good care. when this is over you can consider iud or tubes tied or vasectomy.

You are not alone.

I sort of agree. I wouldn’t have been able to take it fast enough in OPs situation.

What’s the hang up, OP? Are you really afraid of this safe procedure women perform on themselves every day, or are you seeing this as a last-ditch opportunity to hold on to your youth? Because it will become a baby, then a toddler who needs potty training, then a kindergartener learning to read, then a middle schooler with hormones, then a young adult who needs college paid for. And you’ll be in your 60s. Is this the “youthfulness” you are looking for?

Are you for real? So if a woman wants to continue with her pregnancy then it’s because it’s a last ditch effort to hold on to her youth? You realize that a lot of women have babies in their 40s simply because they want to have a child right?

OP back with an update. Maybe it will help someone else. It was less painful than I expected. Sort of like a combination of a flu for an hour (feeling feverish) and a heavy period. Not painful. Bleeding quite heavy but not scary. I’m glad they as standard practice give you a script for ibuprofen. It helped a lot. Also, What helped Me most I think was doing a lot of pacing and walking around the house for the hour where cramping and flu like feeling peaked, kind of like during labor you would do. Laying down only Made me feel worse.

I’m trying to figure out birth control now. Similar to another thread, the progesterone only pills gave me a lot of side effects. That’s why I went off them. Thanks for those who gave me suggestions and support.

Girl you pregnant.

Anonymous wrote:Thanks for the support. I suppose because the urine was negative there they didn’t want to also do blood. They instead sent me home with a lab Corp urine test. The same one I took there. I didn’t want to waste it, assuming this will turn into a chemical or something so I took my second first response test I had at home. I thought it’s possible my breasts are sore because hormones are dropping. I felt relieved leaving the doctor but now every hour with no period and now another positive test I’m into a tailspin.

When I had a chemical pregnancy I had a positive home test. Got a urine test at a clinic and it was negative. Turned out they didn’t do an HCG count and had a cut off much g higher then the home test. The next day I went back and got a HCG test and it was 20 or so, and dropping.

You are being an a$$hat. Women have babies in their 40s all the time now, and they always have. Let me guess, you are one of those women who thinks you are superior because you popped them all out in your 20s. And also, people in their 60s are not sitting in nursing homes or in rocking chairs on porches anymore. They are perfectly capable of raising young adult children. Get out of the 1950s.
