Anyone got a non-paywalled link to David Frum’s article in The Atlantic about Vance? It looks really good. |
With a Yale law degree and experience in Silicon Valley. It's not like he's some random grievance peddler. And your attitude shows why former working class whites don't want to vote for Democrats. Their "grievances" and declining standard of living are real. Maybe you should listen. |
They want to vote for an Ivy-League-graduate venture-capitalist [white] man of the [white] people! |
What are you talking about? His book got panned for being a fraud. |
Such a stupid comment. If you look back for as long as anyone can remember, the vp of every administration has, for the most part, been invisible for fear of them saying something stupid or upstaging the president. VPs have "disappeared" for as long as I can remember for every single party. |
The fool is anyone who thinks Kamala Harris is a fool. You might disagree with her, you might hate her, but fool she is not. |
JD Vance doesn't possess the right degree of obsequiousness and blind obedience that the orange dumba** requires. Only Tim Scott possesses that quality. |
JD Vance is the protege of "Tiger Mom" Amy Chua and a beneficiary of conservative affirmative action. He wasn't a great student by Yale Law School standards. Kamala Harris had a real job as a prosecutor. She is a good debater. |
At least you're admitting his elitist background, which he likes to hide. |
He talks about it endlessly in the book. |
He's the idiot's version of an intellectual. So I guess the GOP will love him. |
I hope he doesn't get the nomination because my parents loved that book and movie even though they hate Trump and that makes me nervous that people buy the absolute crock of $hit Vance sells about his hard scrabble background and his family (the reality looks pretty different but doesn't sell as well).
I guess he's not dumb enough to put the truth in his biography like Governor Dog Murderer over there, so maybe he has an extra 20 brain cells to rub together? I don't want anyone who makes a Trump presidency more likely. |
Ivy educated, wrote book, served in Congress. Sounds as ready as Jack Kennedy was. |
You misspelled "war hero." |
I think I'm done with the woman thing, I just want the right person for the job. |
