Alec Baldwin was caught on camera smacking the phone of an anti-Israel agitator who repeatedly demanded he say “Free Palestine” inside a New York City coffee shop, according to footage posted online Monday night.

The rabble-rouser approached the actor while he appeared to be on the phone and at the cash register inside the shop and began to relentlessly harass him, the video shows.

You left out the part where she called him a murderer and said he belonged in prison.

Even the state of New Mexico doesn’t believe he’s a murderer so I can see him losing patience after that ugly assertion.

Not really a protester, It was Crackhead barney. She is known for being an "ambush interviewer" and calls herself a performance artist.

I just Google Image searched this...person.....yikes. Alec looked a bit scared. I would be scared too!

It's not her job to attack someone verbally. She was wrong in this instance.

I'm not a fan of him or of what happened on the movie set, but that is for the courts to handle--not some random Palestine agitator trying to get noticed on her podcast.

So he deserved it?

No. Of course not. But he puts himself right in the line of weirdos regularly. Anyone could puck up his coffee for him.

He’s a 66 year old man with 7 or 8 kids all young multiple still in diapers. He needs any chance he can get to leave the house.

He wasn’t a murder in that sense. He pulled the trigger to a gun that was a prop that he was told or assumed was not loaded. Not his fault.

It's NYC. It's not like you have to try too hard. He has a bunch of kids, getting out is an escape.

The protester got what she deserved. She harassed a person and they retaliated.

Do stupid things, win stupid prizes.

She targeted him because he was famous. Team Alec. I would have applauded.
Anonymous
As has been posted, she is not a protestor.

All things considered, Alec remained relatively calm, but he should have walked away.

Not reading this many pages, but I am on his side here. Those unhinged protestors need a new hobby.

Team Alec

I’m so ready for all these agitators to be reined it. It’s not okay to provoke people.
