11k for taxes? |
View…from a cliff that looks like the house might eventually fall into the Potomac. The aerial view makes you wonder why it was built so close to the sloping hill. |
wow. |
Thanks Dan for sharing your parting thoughts with Maryland. I suspect given the limited number of $40m+ properties in the DMV, the fact that Snyder crossed the river to find a new one probably isn't too representative of anything in particular. He probably just read an article that NoVA is the preferred location for the DMV's nouveau riche and felt left out. |
It didn’t get any takers at $35M so he donated it to the American Cancer Society.

It’s just such a hideous house. The best part about it was the plot, but who would pay tens of millions and then still have to raze that monstrosity to the ground? |
People who live in MoCo your property taxes going up as this will be removed from the tax rolls |
Wow.. some people are strange - they prefer their shi$shack rambler. What’s wrong with the home? I would love to live there - just for the privacy and view alone. I’m a lifelong commanders fan, hate Snyder, but I’ll take his house. |
Which is putting it back on the market. https://dc.urbanturf.com/articles/blog/dan_snyder_gave_his_home_away_and_now_its_coming_back_on_the_market/22289?fbclid=IwAR3Y5M--ia-n-Iw9BqkTQ0lTigcvx-n8tF_Bj-zT81-2lfPsCnuybOnBP_s_aem_AcMb2hBrk7WcND0y8SziZMBED08Cy1bp3raD9Bdaltsnij9c7Efun731IG_Y5gqkNE3tEupMci_kOqVHDlWP-WJO&mibextid=WC7FNe |
