Let's discuss as it closes the door on a great series. I'll avoid spoilage, but this week's episode, which I typically watch on Wednesday was as heart-breaking as a TV show can be.
Any theories on who the rat is? I'm hearing that it could be Tig working for August, since they supposedly let him go in a previous season. Guessing his freedom may be conditional. It can't be Chibbs, it just can't, and nobody else really has major roles. Happy and that other massive goon are just too minor to be turncoats. I'm calling it, it's Tig. I'm already missing it, but I will say that it's gotten incredibly too violent to be realistic this year. |

Yes!
I think things are set up for it to be Tig but I feel like it is going to be Chibbs because that would be a much bigger betrayal. What I think has to happen is that Unser will figure out what Gemma did. I also feel like that story has to be the culmination of the final season and series given Gemma's role. She was never a member of the club but has been the one pulling the strings since the beginning. It really is an amazing role Katy Segal has and she has been so good at it. Anyway, I hope they allow the discovery of what Gemma did and the aftermath to develop and don't rush it at the end. And it can't be that she and Nero ride off into the sunset. I have theories about what happens with Nero but they are just theories so I'll keep them to myself, lest I be accused of being a spoiler. I don't think I can watch many more scenes with Abel. The kid is such a terrible actor that he comes off as really creepy. Plus every scene with the kids is heartbreaking. |
They lost me last season with the exploding keg. But I've enjoyed reading all the spoilers from then on.

| I loved this show, but this entire season has been utterly ridiculous from top to bottom. I hope Wendy and Nero take the baby and go far, far away. Maybe they can take Abel also, since the kid did redeem himself when he got all snotty with Gemma about knowing what an accident is. Venus Van Dam can be their babysitter. Everyone else can die in yet another ridiculous gun fight. |

I haven't watched this week but I can't help but read these anyway!
I think the show kind of ended up being a little goofier than intended in the last 2 seasons. Remember how few people actually were killed in an episode the first few seasons? Also I remember seeing Jax naked more though...........I miss that too
I laugh at the PP who mentions that ginormous goon- I never remember his character's name but he's a wall of a person, I don't understand how he could get cast as anything else in his career! |

OP here, so I could help doing some useless research on Wiki.
"Happy" is 52 and is a legit Hells Angle. He was originally brought on as a consultant, for obvious reasons. I guess he looks his age in the picture here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Labrava |
I couldn't even pick out who the member was that got killed (by the Chinese?) while watching the guns. They reference his death every once and a while, but his presence was so minimal that I have no idea what his name is. I think it's Wes? They refer to him like he's on Tig or Chibbs level, but I'll be damned if I remember any of his scenes. |
| What show is this? I was hoping someone would clarify the acronym |
| Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club Redwood Original |
Sons of Anarchy on FXX (or FX, not sure which ones are on which). I actually think Happy looks younger than 52 even in that photo when you think about the fact that I am sure he was not exfoliating, using SPF and eating organic for skin care! |
| Did I miss something? How did TO know the location of the AB house? And how did Jax know TO gave that spot? |
|
I think SOA set that up. Remember when Jax and the other detainee had that convo at Dioso, said "if things go south"...
The wanted the 9er to make the meeting take place. Brilliant set btw, but now we know it'll end with the internal family drama vs. gang violence. Unless the Chinese are still a factor? Anyone else have any guesses as to what other gangs could disrupt things? |
| Yes, you're right. Jax told Rat the plan in the first scene. |
| They use the word "brother" waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much this season. It sort of started last season but its just over the top now, I seriously do a laugh/cringe whenever they say it to each other. I should make this a drinking game........... |
|
Indeed. There's so much about this show that is just laughable at this point.
And while the dialogue is generally unimpressive, the plot twists are incredible. That's what keeps me watching. |
