Spring Break 3/23 - 3/27

DS's Spring Break is march 23 - march 27 this year. Does anyone know of any Spring Break camps that week, particularly in DC or Rockville?

http://www.hoopeducation.com -- basketball camp for days off and spring break. Starts at age 6 and has a lot of locations. Also Rockville Sports Plex - but so far they do not have that week on their website.

Lowell School in DC has a Spring Break Camp. They have not posted their info yet. But their web site will probably post the detail soon.

Also DC Parks and Rec is doing a Spring Break Camp at various sites throughout the city. Good Luck!

Thanks, do you know the age for Lowell? Because the age for DC Parks is 6+ and HeadFirst mentioned above is 5+. I can't seem to find any for a 4 yr old. Thanks!

The GDS camp is open to everyone (pre-K and up). Head First has soccer and baseball at Woods Academy for ages 4 and up.

FYI the camps @ Head First for the 4 year olds are only half day

Headfirst - www.playheadfirst.com- has Spring Break Camp for baseball, soccer, and basketball March 23-27 at Woods Academy and also the week of Apr 6-10 at Westland Middle School (Both are in Bethesda). Good luck finding the right camp for your child!

FYI Lowell has Spring Break the week immediately following the wee of the 23rd.

DCJCC is having a Spring Break Camp for 4 year olds and so is the YMCA on Rhode Island Avenue in DC. Good Luck!

FYI I called GDS Auxillary Programs and have yet to get a call back - very frustrating.

Sidwell Summer does a spring break camp on its DC campus - a day program for PK - grade 3 with a different theme each day plus a sports program (soccer with American Soccer Academy in the morning and Basketball with One-On-One in the afternoon). Hello Families,

My name is VanNessa Duckett-Thomas, owner of Polite Piggy's Day Camp serving families of children ages 3-7 during all of the out of school time breaks!!! We are offering Spring Break Camp March 23-27, 2009 at the Family Room located at 411 8th St. S.E., Washington, DC 20003. The Family Room, is an awesome play center for children. Not only do the children receive great structured play time, they also receive high quality and high end programming at an affordable cost. The calendar activities is as follows:

Monday- We stay on site and have Catriona's Castle come to us. Catriona's Castle is a theater program that bring costumes for every child to act out familiar stories. We also will have Capitol Hill artist Laurie Siegel holding an art class and Joy of Motion's Mrs. Sharon will hold a creative movement class.

Tuesday- We will visit Silver Stars Gymnastics Studio for a tumbling, gymnastics, and free play class!

Wednesday- We will go to the Joy of Motion Dance Center on H st. for a yoga class and a creative movement class.

Thursday- We will go to Lucky Strike Gallery Place for a bowling extravaganza!

Friday- We will go to the National Gallery of Art to participate in a very special opportunity called Art Tales.

We also serve breakfast daily to all children and a healthy snack in the afternoon. We ask families to send lunch. Our camp operates daily from 8 am- 6:30 pm. We maintain an 8:1 ratio to maximize effectiveness and safety at all times. In addition, I have been a teacher for over 10 years and we take great care in hiring our staff to choose people who share our vision and in some way can add something unique to our program.
