Reports Give Parents Details on Services

The link to the site provided in the article is not working--has anyone been able to access this database? If so would you please provide the correct link?

Thanks!

I accessed it via http://msdecompliancereports.org/.

Glad to see my center is compliant .

It's about time. I wish they provided more detail, like the Va site. Wonder what a Yes in the "Prohibition of Abuse, Neglect, and Injurious Treatment" column means?

I can't get it to work either. I wonder if it's just overrun with traffic?

I had to adjust settings on my browser to get it to work. (The error message provided instructions on how to adjust the settings.)

Article said it was still being tested and isn't officially live yet.

I just get the message "Your session has timed out" with instructions to click a link, but nothing happens when I do. Has anyone solved this particular problem?

What do you do if your center has failed some of the parameters? The reports don't offer a whole lot of detail and I would rather not bring them up with the director since she may not tell the whole truth. Can I call the inspector for a full report?

Hi,

I'm not sure what your relationship is like with the Director at your center, but my husband and I approached ours this morning after finding that our center had been found not compliant in one of the areas. She was actually extremely helpful and showed us the actual report she recieved at the time of the licensing inspection. This helped us to understand that she was telling the truth. The center was marked non-compliant in Health of Employees and it was because one of the employees had her physical on a DC form instead of the Marlyand form. Not exactly something to stress out about!

I am glad that I talked to my director (btw, while we don't dislike our director, we havent had a very warm relationship with her in the past) as she helped to explain the whole process to us. She stated, and I believe it, that it would probably be difficult to find a center that hasn't had some non-compliant item at some point in the time they have been open.

I would reccommend starting with your director as she knows the particulars of the report and should be willing to talk to you about it, whereas the licensing specialist may be very burdened with her workload (and lots of calls from all of us concerned parents and may not be able to spend a long time answering questions about your center specifically.

Good Luck!
