Really freaked out after reading an "Incel" blog

In scanning the coverage of the horrible tragedy in Isla Vista, I came across an incel blog http://thatincelblogger.wordpress.com/2014/05/25/elliot-rodger-and-a-note-for-new-arrivals/
Much of it was weird and/or sad, but by this paragraph, I was really freaked out: "What happened is punishment for evil and violence of feminists and liberals. Any of you supporting atrocities like women’s suffrage, immodest clothing, child support/alimony, no ban on adultery, ban on prostitution and a lack of female premarital chastity, all the things that drove this young man to be unable to find a girlfriend, are disgusting , horrible people and you created a culture where this is possible. Renounce these horrors now. It is a decent thing to do. It will make you healthy and sane again. It will make the world healthy and sane again." Somewhere in America is at least one supposedly normal-appearing man who believes that it is an atrocity for women to vote, men to help support their children, and women to have sex before marriage. An atrocity. Elliot Rodgers is the tip of the iceberg. Will we sound an alarm? In high school, I read a novel in which America's largest population group was angry young men forced to become celibate because of gender imbalance. One of the impacts was that all young women had to serve a term of state-sponsored prostitution. I remember thinking this could never happen. No one would ever want this to happen. I was wrong. I'm a registered Independent who largely leans Democrat. I've been lukewarmly committed to voting for HRC in 2016 if she runs. Now, I think that I am going to vote and campaign for whichever Democrat runs who seems least like to appease women-haters. |

It's a joke. Who would listen to the garbage? And even if he has his fan club, there aren't enough to enslave women. I'm passing this along to pals. Thanks for the laugh, OP. I had never heard about an incel before. What a self-loathing moron! |

There are lots of people out there who believe offensive things. There always have been. But now their blogs, basically a diary, is out there in public.
It doesn't matter, there aren't enough of these people to enslave you and force you into prostitution. |

My freshman humanities teacher said her father said something similar in the very early 1930s. These people are nuts. No one intelligent pays attention to them. They'll never have enough power to do any harm. Within a decade, they controlled half of Europe. |

This incel thing has a worldwide following already. Apparently, they think that there's no use for American women and they will marry women (preferably white) from non-feminist societies (Russia?) and then raise non-feminist, white kids. |

I don't think we're going to turn to state-sponsored prostitution, but the fact that anti-choice activists are carving away at women's ability to determine their reproductive future should chill you to your bones. And let's stop pretending that the nuts of the left in any way equal the nuts of the right. |

Are you sure this blog isn't a joke?
He is opposed to a ban on prostitution and a lack of female premarital chastity. So, he wants prostitution to be legal...but thinks women should retain their virginity until marriage. How ironic. |

Wackso can do a lot of harm.
Look at Elliot Rodger. Have you seen his videos? He couldn't get a woman so he went on a killing spree. Still, I doubt this incel would ever drum up enough support to get an army of controlling men and subservient women on his side. incel - love it! |

You are mistaken to think these mentally ill, extremist men are Republican.They see both major parties as two sides of the same evil coin and believe "a pox on both their houses" if they think about politics at all. Your vote would serve better to elect someone who supports an overhaul of the mental health system. |
