Still can't believe she's gone.
What a tragedy |
She was talented, but just a train wreck for so many years. It was bound to happen. I loved her when she first came out. I remember she was a very popular model in Seventeen magazine when I was a teen and I always admired her "look." Then when she came out with her first album... wow! I agree, it's sad. |
What's sad is her daughter. |
She had a range, but when Mariah came along, she became obsolete. |
So do I. Yes she was a train wreck. Yes it was bound to happen. But it still so freaking sad. There are a few younger very talented people that I fear may go down the same sad path. |
What!? Don't she didn't. |
And she had such a bright, happy, innocent look in her eyes in those early days. The eyes. That's where you can really see the difference. |
ick. but I do know someone who says Celine Dion is just as good. |
I pull up the You Tube of One Moment in Time every now and then. Sends chills down my spine. near perfection. |
She was the master of her own demise. It was sad. She was incredibly talented but talent doesn't make you happy or fight your demons for you. Likely that life of fame and fortune actually makes it harder to be happy and harder to fight the good fight when every thing is at your fingertips. It is sad she is gone as she took great talent with her. |
Nothing like Whitney in her prime. For me it's the Star Spangled Banner. Imagine her singing Let it Go. |
How absurd! |
Where Mariah has range she has never had the power Whitney had. |
OP, do you also miss Farah Fawcett? |
Lol. That's what I was thinking. |
