RHONY - Carole and Aviva

Anonymous
Anyone watching the new season of Real Housewives of NY? I'm already finding it much more interesting than the Beverly Hills season.
What's the deal with Aviva trying to take Carole down? And who cares if Aviva has a book? Carole was pretty condescending about it, but Aviva needs to drop the ghost writer rumor.

They are really stretching it. I feel like a producer is telling them what to say because they are being oddly overly accusatory and fighting irrationally. On the other hand it could very well just be the way they fight and talk as they don't seem to smart. Well Carole seems smart but the rest of them, not so sure.

It's so dumb. The show has made me think so much less of Carole. I loved her book but this show puts her in such a bad light.

I think there was much more conversation and behind-the-back talking than we saw. I can't remember what, but Carole alluded to that on WWHL.

I think Carole's being very defensive about it, though, because she's got a tv deal (ala Sex and the City), so any accusations about ghost writing would look very bad on her.

On another note, I cannot get past Carole's teeth this season.

I find the teeth really distracting too!! Are they capped?

Me too! Are they different from last season? My girlfriend thinks Carole is so pretty, but I just can't get past her overbite and the fact that she can hardly close her mouth!

I like Aviva more than Carol - who I find difficult to look at as she is highly unattractive- but that's opinion. That plus she thinks she's more COOL than she really is. Not that I love Aviva but I'm not sure why Carol is so put-off by her. just because she asked is she used a ghost writer?

I like carol but no way is she pretty. I don't think the teeth are capped but she has a horrendous overbite. Probably only surgery would correct it at this point. it makes everything out of proportion. Aviva is truly out of touch with reality. Her only job is snagging rich men and making sure to pop out kids for the meal ticket.

Aviva is just a mess. And incredibly self impressed for someone whose only job is to....wait, what is it again? Oh, right. Nothing.

Will we see Ramona's marital troubles in the show? Didn't they split recently?

That's what I'm waiting for but she refused to talk about it on WWHL. I noticed Mario hasn't been on the show yet this season, maybe they're going to ignore it.

Yes, Carole is not conventionally pretty, but she has always (before this Bookgate issue) seemed very confident in who she is, which I always find attractive.

Aviva is ... not a graduate of an impressive law school. Cordozo? Hello low LSAT score!

When Carole said to Aviva that she basically didn't know what she was talking about because she's never worked a day outside of the home....THAT was a low-class, low-blow. She insulted so many of her own fans with that sentence alone, I bet many of her twitter followers go away.

I don't think carol was trying to demean SAHMs, just Aviva. And lets be serious, it seems that Aviva really has never worked not even BEFORE she had kids, thats what Carol was trying to point out. She grew up wealthy, married two weatlhy men. And do you really think she is at home cleaning and cooking and doing most things SAHMs do? no. I loved that conversation with Kristen about her "writing experience" with such gems "I went to law school and thats a lot of writing" and "I published an essay once"--omg. she is awful.
