TV shows / movies in French

Anonymous
I used to live in Paris and spoke French very well. I know it's still there in my head, but it's been so long. I used to watch a lot of movies in French, too (movies of Cédric Klapisch, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, whatever I could find at the library or online). Anyone have any recs for good, fun, suspense, romance, etc. TV shows I might be able to find online in French? Any favorite movies?

Guess I'll start in case anyone's interested:
Amelie, obviously
L'auberge espagnole
Poupées ruses
Un long dimanche de fiançailles
Delicatessen
Dieu est grand, je suis toute petite
Pas sur la bouche

obviously, Au Revoir Les Enfants

Ridicule is also interesting, if you're into period pieces. It takes at the court of Louis XVI just before the revolution.

Crime D' Amour
I've Loved You So Long
A Prophet
Potiche
The Father of My Children
Micmacs
35 Shots of Rum
Army of Shadows
The Class
La Belle Noiseuse
Shoot the Piano Player
8 Women
Farewell, My Queen

"The Returned" is awesome. Very haunting and well-done. The whole first season is available on Netflix.

A lot of US movies also have a French track on the DVD release.

I'm French, and while the greatest Anglophile ever, found these famous movies hilarious:

"Le diner de cons": Side-splitting dialogue!

"Les Visiteurs", just the first movie: excellent parody of medieval speech (maybe a bit difficult to appreciate?) and wonderful acting by Valerie Lemercier as resident aristocrat - her accent and tone are to the manner born. She is absent from subsequent movies, therefore they are worthless.

Oh, and my kids love the old "Gendarme" comedies featuring the notorious Louis de Funes as the hyperactive and cantakerous gendarme. Start with "Le Gendarme de St Tropez" (1964), first and best in the series.

Enjoy yourself!

I need to check all these out!
Does anyone remember a movie about Tati? Basically they hire a "babysitter" to watch Tati over les vacances. What is it called?

Also, what's on Amazon Prime instant? I am finding NOTHING! Rien!
