Dh and I have always been around 820+ since we met in our mid-20s. Huge source of pride and we are competitive about it....somebody always ends up one point or so above the other.
I'd never get involved with somebody with bad credit. |
You're married. Hopefully you're not looking to "get involved" with anybody! |
| 785. I seriously don't know how to get it higher. I've never once been late on anything. DH was just below 785 and we couldn't get the best credit scores because of it (although I was told by a different broker that 765 was their cut off). SOOO frustrating!! He's never been late on anything either, he just has a few student loans he's still paying on. |
| Both DH and I are in the low 800s. I'm always a little higher than he, though. He had a lot of debt when we married and we paid it off fairly quickly. |
To clarify, I have never been late/missed a payment, always pay my entire balances in full each month, and am only 22. No student loans, car loans, mortgage, other debt. Just credit cards. |
| 761 was a 676 until I paid of a few things. |

. Nope! We are working on teaching our kids responsible saving, responsible spending and the importance of good credit (and not marrying a spouse with horrible credit: .

| Where can you get your credit checked for free? I haven't a clue what my number is. |
| 814 when I bought a new car about a year ago. |
You can get your credit report for free at annual credi report.com (I think). You have to pay for your credit score. |
