Dry down there means my period is coming or I'm possibly pregnant?

We are trying to concieve and actually, just starting, and I haven't quite gotten a hold of my cervical mucus during different stages. My period is going on three days late. My period was supposed to come on the 15th. Since the 15th, I have had no cervical mucus on my underwear, which is usually pretty typical for me. I have read online that vaginal discharge, or better yet, extra discharge, during a missed period or late period is a sign of pregnancy. Should I just assume that my period will come? I took a test a week ago and will take one tomorrow, not going to run to the store tonight to take one but just curious if others have had no discharge and turned out pregnant. Also, when people say they are having vaginal discharge, are they talking about what's in the underwear or (tmi) if they stick a finger up there, what comes out and it's consistency? I have nothing on my underwear but it's wet up there, clear wet, like water. I have lower stomach cramps, just started getting a runny nose and constant headaches. No other symptoms.

I had a ton of vaginal discharge (on my underwear) right before I tested with my BFP. So much that I thought I got my period and ran to the bathroom to find out I hadn't. I didn't know that was a sign of early pregnancy at the time but it's the only time that's happened to me. Not sure about dryness so I can't comment on that. GL!

I felt really dry down there and thought I was getting a yeast infection. I did get a BFP (no yeast infection). So, I think there a multitude of symptoms you can get.....not sure if feeling dry is actually one of them. Only the test will tell. Good luck!
